School Psychologist (or Intern)

Greenwood 50 is offering full-time, part-time, and internship school psychologist opportunities for the 2026-2027 school year. School psychologists enjoy a 205 day contract on a balanced modified school year calendar. Full-time equates to 37.5 hours a week, with a 1-hour off-campus lunch break each day. Pay is based on the certified teacher salary scale with an additional stipend provided. Assignments are school-based and caseloads never exceed more than two schools. 

As a school-based school psychologist, you are a valuable member of the school's Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) team, with opportunities to improve outcomes at the student, classroom, school, and district level. With a team of several school psychologists, the district prioritizes collaboration and growth through monthly Psych Professional Learning Community (PLC) meetings. Mentorship, leadership, and professional development opportunities are available and aligned to personal strengths and interests. 

The largest of three school districts in Greenwood County, Greenwood 50 serves over one thousand students with disabilities, which is approximately 11% of the total student population. School psychologists work alongside special education coordinators and coaches, behavior specialists, a mental health liaison, and a number of support staff to engage in collective problem-solving designed to best meet the needs of our students, their classrooms, and their communities.
